Carlsberg Vietnam is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Khan as the company’s new Managing Director, effective September 1st, 2024. Andrew will succeed Onno Rombouts, who transitioned to his new role as Managing Director of Brasseries Kronenbourg, Carlsberg Group’s iconic operations in France.

Andrew Khan brings a wealth of experience and strategic leadership to Carlsberg Vietnam, having held pivotal roles across Carlsberg Group’s international markets and within the Group’s Commercial division. Since joining Carlsberg in 2019, Andrew has been instrumental in driving the market growth through the premiumization of international and local brands and reinvigorating the portfolio with many new launches.

In September 2022, Andrew transitioned to Carlsberg Group as the Global Vice President of Premium & Beyond Beer, where he successfully led the expansion and scaling of premium brands such as 1664 Blanc, Brooklyn, and Somersby across key markets.

Before joining Carlsberg, Andrew honed his expertise in premium brand management and market expansion during his tenure at Möet Hennessy across several Asian markets.

In his new role at Carlsberg Vietnam, Andrew will lead the company’s ambitious long-term transformation strategy, aligned with Carlsberg Group’s global Accelerate SAIL agenda. This strategy emphasizes targeted investments and a focus on key brands, regions, and capabilities to drive sustainable growth in the dynamic Vietnamese beer market. Andrew’s deep understanding of Asian markets, combined with his energy, dedication, and commitment, positions him to accelerate Carlsberg Vietnam’s growth trajectory.

"Vietnam is one of the key growth engines for the Carlsberg Group globally and in the Asia region. It is an honor to be in this fast-growing market and sail alongside the passionate and dedicated team. I am very confident that Carlsberg Vietnam will continue to thrive, deliver sustainable growth and exceptional products to our customers, as well as create lasting value for the communities we proudly serve,” said Andrew Khan, Managing Director of Carlsberg Vietnam.
