Main purpose of the position


Performing structured and analytical processes to ensure that Carlsberg can maximise the value of portfolio of brands and packs having the right pricing architecture, assortment, promotions, and trading terms in place

Job responsibilities

·       Identify opportunities to optimize revenue, margins, and profitability by using VM toolkit

·       Provide input into commercial reviews, management reviews, budget, etc

  • Analyse multidimensional data trends vs commercial plans on specific products, verification of commercial activities

·       Identify, introduce, and monitor relevant KPI’s and ensure follow up through relevant reporting tools

·       Facilitate SKU complexity tool (Abacus) at Country level, drive decisions how to improve profitability of tail

·       Execute periodical price analysis research and price ladder review; provide input for pricing considering target margins

·       Trade price promotions and discounts - set promotional guidelines, ROI measurement

·       Update BPPC on regular basis and align with Channel and Brand owners

·       Train commercial and finance teams on VM principles, the toolkit and how to drive insights, with support from Group VM resources and training materials

Personal qualifications / competencies

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial, Finance (Controlling), Supply chain (Planning), preferably in FMCG industry
  • Experienced in MS-office tools, Power BI, Power Pivot
  • Quick learner

·       Understanding of Company’s P&L and key business metrics: Revenue, GPaL margin, EBIT, Market Share

·       Deep understanding of Statistics, experienced analyst of historical data

·       Ability to work across all levels in various functional areas such as Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain and Finance.

·       Understanding of shopper / consumer: insights, mission, consuming occasions etc.
