Role overview 

  • The MOFT Director plays a critical role in developing and executing sales strategies, building, managing a high-performing sales team, and achieving revenue targets to drive growth and maximize sales performance within the off-trade channel of the modern retail sector. The role is also to build and maintain strong strategic relationships with key customers and retail partners.

 

 What you’ll be doing 

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to drive revenue growth within the modern off-trade channel.
  • Identify market opportunities and consumer trends within the modern retail sector to capitalize on sales potential.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and retail partners.
  • Negotiate distribution agreements, optimize product placement, and ensure maximum visibility within retail outlets.
  • Collaborate with brand and trade marketing teams to develop and execute promotional campaigns and initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviours to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Provide input on product assortment, packaging, and pricing strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, including brand marketing, trade marketing, procurement, supply chain, finance, HR to ensure alignment of efforts.
  • Track and analyse sales performance metrics, market share, profitability.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Other tasks assigned by line manager

 

What we’re looking for

  • Min 5 years of experience at equivalent position with a successful track record in achieving sales targets and leading teams.
  • Preferred experience in Beer/F&B /FMCG background required.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate sale team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and exceeding targeted
  • Strategic thinking, able to analyse market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Excellent business acumen and a good understanding of the market
  • Self-starter mindset, good work ethic, proven success track-record 
  • Willingness to travel nationwide.
