Role overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Control Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the company’s reporting & planning process and will be responsible for treasury management. The candidate will manage team and take lead in assigned projects.
What you’ll be doing
Reporting and planning:
- Ensure the integrity of all financial information/ financial reports
- Take responsible for management reports to review monthly/quarterly/yearly performance; and Propose key actions to get the results close to the target
- Take responsible for management reports for Budget/Estimate and Defend/justify the estimation proposals
- Do simulation analysis to analyze business cases and predict how the outcome would vary
- Collaborate with management on the development and execution of action plans and tracking the progress
- Take responsible for cost controlling and optimization
- Take responsible for compliance with Group Accounting manual as well as Vietnam Accounting Standards
Key contact point in working with banks regarding loan, term deposits, supply chain financing, bank account management, treasury compliance reports…Take lead in control activities relating to Treasury in Controls over Financial Reporting and Process improvement:
- Review current policies & procedures and develop new policies & procedures over internal. control system focusing on Accounting & Finance to ensure the compliance with regulations and Group internal policies and improve end to end process efficiency
- Take responsible for regular and ad-hoc reports on control framework over financial reporting.
- One of contact points in working with internal/external auditors within assigned scope of work
- Back up for line manager on some occasions and develop 100% “back up” for all positions/rotation among teams for business sustainability.
- Participate in other related projects as and when needed.
What we’re looking for
Required experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Auditing / Finance.
- ACCA/CPA.
- At least 10-years of experience working in a Big4 audit firm with both banking and manufacturing; or At least 5-year experience in finance control position in a FMCG company of similar size.
- Experience in borrowing for capital investment is a plus.
- Experience with ERP system.
- Good business acumen.
- English: good at 4 skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially in MS Excel and Power Point.
- Strong Organizational and Analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well with people at all levels within the company.
